**************Meaning 6**************
Though my learning is poor, and I am the butt of ridicule to the learned, yet it is my devotion towards you, which forces me to be vocal. The only cause of the cuckoo’s sweet song in the spring time is indeed the charming mango buds.
My devotion to you only perforce causes me to compose this eulogy, me who is conversant with only scanty knowledge and (consequently) an object of ridicule (in the eyes) of those who are well versed with and proficient in the sacred science; (for) a collection of mango sprouts is instrumental in making the cuckoos coo in the spring season.
