**************Meaning 1**************

Having duly bowed down to the feet of Jina, which, at the beginning of the yuga, was the prop of men drowned in the ocean of worldliness, and which illumine the luster of the gems, of the poostrated heads of the devoted gods, and which dispel the vast gloom of sins.

Duly and honourable bowing down at the lotus-like feet of Shree Jindeva(aadinath), which illuminates the lusture of jewels of the crowns of the devout gods, bent down (before aadinath in obeisance), destroys the great or spreading darkness of sin and supports, in the beginning of the age (karma yug), persons falling down into the ocean of world.
