बल्गत्तुरंगगजगर्जितभीमनाद -
माजौ बलं बलवतामपि भूपतीनाम् ।
उद्यदिृवाकरमयूखशिखापविद्धम् ,
त्वत्कीर्तानात्तम इवाशु भिदामुपैति ।।

हे कर्मारिविजेता आदीश्वर!
इसे भीषण रणक्षेत्र में,जहाँ की घोड़े उछल उछल कर हिनहिना रहे हो।भीमकाय हस्ती भयंकर चिंघाड़ कर रहे हो।शत्रुपक्ष के राजाओं की फ़ौज अत्यंत शक्तिशाली और अपराजय हो। तो भी वह आपकी चरण-कृपा से झटपट तितर-बितर हो जाती है।अर्थात शीघ्र ही नष्ट हो जाती है। मानो कि उदित होता हुआ सूर्य अपनी प्रखर किरणों कि नोकं से अन्धेरे को छिन्न-भिन्न कर रहा होता है ।

Like the darkness dispelled by the luster of rays of the rising sun, the army, accompanied by the loud roar of the prancing horses and elephants even of powerful kings, and is dispersed in the battlefield with the mere recitation of thy name.
As the sun (at the dawn) is able to dispel the dark, similarly your name is powerful enough to soon disperse the army of the great kings in a battle, resounding with the noise of the galloping horses and roaring elephants.
